“ Uptown's has been one of my favorite places for a few years. The food and drinks are always. This time we did experience slow service and the restaurant was empty. The waitress automatically discounted our food without us saying anything about the long wait times. Chicken and waffles were great, the only thing I disliked was the sausage they use in the shrimp and grits, it's disgusting. ”

“ The food was delicious, we ordered App Salmon bites 10/10 Crab dip 10/10 Entree Chicken & red velvet waffles w/shrimp & grits sampler Chicken wings with Mac n cheese, collards & yams Drinks 10/10 The live music was really nice, a great vibe. We sat at the bar, the bartenders were very attentive and great. 10/10 Unfortunately our appetizers came out minutes before our order. Huge pet peeve, but I would definitely go back. ”
“ This place was recommended by a friend. I was hesitant because of the mixed reviews, but i'm glad i gave it a try!! Let's start with the customer service: Kiara!!!! Hands down made my experience worth it, from the time i walked in the door. It wasn't too crowded, so she told me to take my time, and really broke down the menu for me. She gave me great recommendations and I wasn't disappointed. Kiara!!! You are what exceptional customer service looks like. The koolaid deserves a paragraph of it's own. Sweet, just like i like it!! Definitely gave nostalgia of my younger years. The food was actually pretty good! I stuck with the basics: Chicken and waffles. The chicken was seasoned and cooked well! I like my waffle a little on the darker side, but it still was good. Kiara gave us a few of the sweet butters to try: Strawberry, Bourbon, Honey, and Maple Pecan. The Bourbon and Honey were my favs. Nice ambiance, full service bar, indoor/outdoor seating...Def come check this place out if you're in the area!!! ”
